African Gem is an acrylic and mixed media painting of curly, swirly, wavy, dark, thin and thick lines of brown, black, red and yellow with blue-grey and black circles on a white and pearly background. This painting is inspired by the various semi-precious gem stones that I work with as an artisanal jeweller.
This painting is done on gesso’ed, unstretched canvas.
