Although part of my Intuitive Abstract series, this painting was completely inspired by our beautiful African Landscape. Trees, grasslands, and our African blue sky, depicted in line and flat panels of colour into which I ‘etched’ nature inspired marks and patterns. The colours are also representational of our landscape in various browns, greens, ochres, yellows, reds, blues, and white.

This piece was inspired by watching water gurggle over stones and rocks. The painting has a dreamlike quality with gentle colours (blues, greens, gentle oranges and ochres) and hazy forms depicting the pebbles and movement of the water, leaving one feeling calm and at peace.
