Intuitive Abstract
Shepard’s Delight is a naturalistic, landscape of a view of the neighbourhood the artist lived in at the time. It is a sunset setting with blacked out trees and houses in the distance with pink and yellow fluffy clouds and a light blue sky.
This is an oil painting done on canvas.
Wind is a two piece (diptych)acrylic, abstract, large scale painting of trees blowing in the gale force winds in Cape Town. The paintng is made up of colours of light blues, greens, yellows, reds and oranges. The brushstrokes are stippled and rough going in a wild, upward and to the left direction, the same direction as the trees and trees’ leaves, depicting the strength and force of the wind, on the trees pulling it in that direction and giving the painting movement.
This painting is done on two, very large, long and tall canvases.
Sunlight through glass with pears is a super realism still life, acrylic painting of green and goldy-brown pears in a glass bowl with sunlight streaming through the bowl. The bowl is sitting on a goldy-brown table with a colour background of light blue. This painting is done on canvas.
